Things to be done before going abroad:
1) Important stuff to be buyed for Ireland
* a lightweight case
* modern raincoat
* bedclothes
* a pyjama
* letter paper
* digi cam
* a notebook with suitable headset
* good old convinience food a la "5 Minuten Terrine" und Spaghetti (for the first few days abroad)
* fashionable pullovers and other kinds of warm clothes
* an umbrella
* gloves, scarf and a cap
* my plane ticket
* ...to be continued

2) Furthermore I will deal with
* meet all good friends
* give everybody my ICQ, Email, PhoneNr and adress
* organise plane tickets with / for friends
* contract insurance
* quit unimportant contracts, e.g. my mobilephone
* organise my travelling
* earn money for the term in Ireland
* jail my boyfriend in his flat ;) just kidding
